Year 6 Transition / New Intake

We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to Open Academy.

We are excited to get to know your child and to support them on the exciting journey ahead!

The transition process is comprehensive and we offer support every step of the way.

Our priority is to establish strong links between all those involved in the transition process, between the Open Academy, primary school staff and Year 6 students.

The transition from one school to another is a time of great excitement which can also be a little worrying for some at the best of times, however, we have lots of experience helping people adjust to our community so we know we can support you through your move up to secondary school.
